We encourage all mayors to join our national, bipartisan effort to stop gun violence. Click here to view a current list of Coalition members.

Our mayors are Democrats, Republicans and independents and they support common-sense policies to keep guns out of criminal hands and to keep military-style weapons off our streets. There is no time or financial commitment to getting involved.

We simply ask mayors to review and sign our Statement of Principles 

For communities that do not have an elected mayor, the highest elected official may sign the pledge as an Honorary Coalition Member.

Finally, all concerned residents are encouraged to sign our petition at DemandAPlan.org , where you can also join a grassroots network of more than one million Americans advocating for saner gun laws.
